2. Silver Mountain Resort, Kellogg, Idaho
Just 40 minutes east of Coeur d’Alene, Silver Mountain is a gem for skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts. This resort features 73 trails, a terrain park, and a gondola ride that offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Its water park and hot tubs make it an excellent destination for family fun or relaxation after a long day on the slopes.

Located along the Idaho-Montana border, Lookout Pass is a must-visit for powder hounds. Known for its reliable snowfall and affordable lift tickets, this resort offers 540 skiable acres for skiers and snowboarders of all levels. Lookout Pass also boasts the best tree skiing in the region.

4. Mount Spokane Ski & Snowboard Park, Spokane, Washington
Just an hour’s drive from Coeur d’Alene across the Idaho-Washington border, Mount Spokane is a beloved spot for winter sports. With 1,704 acres of terrain and night skiing available, it’s ideal for those who want to extend their time on the slopes. The park also offers lessons and rentals, making it accessible for beginners.
Several team members appreciate Mount Spokane’s convenient location and variety of runs. It’s a great place to spend a weekday evening or a weekend adventure.
